We are delighted to surprise you with wonderful news today. Every day brings us new hope and shows us that miracles do happen. Our brave Glen has made remarkable progress over this week.

Firstly, Glen has almost completely overcome his post-operative delirium. This is a huge relief for us all, as it was uncertain how long this condition would last. A big thank you to everyone who stood by our side during this challenging time, especially Glen's godmother and godfather, who gave him special support.

Another milestone: Glen was able to walk on his own two feet for the first time today! The proud walk down the corridor from the hospital room was a moving moment not only for us parents, but also for the nursing staff.

To our great delight, Glen was transferred from the intensive care unit to the normal paediatric ward today. This means that he no longer needs as intensive monitoring - a decisive step towards his recovery. Of course, he still needs daily therapies such as physiotherapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, ... but we are in good hands and very grateful for the support we receive here in Geneva.

In addition to his medical progress, Glen has also discovered his creative side. Thanks to a lovely art therapist here at the hospital, he has created an impressive piece of art today, which we are proud to present. It's amazing to see how much joy and creativity he has in him. Who knows, maybe he'll soon be saving up the necessary change to be able to afford the beautiful car pictured. 😅

We are overwhelmed by the support and prayers we have received. You all are truly making a big difference and we are deeply touched by the love and hope that surrounds us. Although we still have a way to go, we are indescribably happy about everything impossible that has already become possible.

Thank you so much for your prayers. We continue to believe in miracles and are grateful for every small and big step forward Glen is making.
